We continued our unit on Eric Carle this week. We read "The Grouchy Ladybug", and talked about how it is much better to be happy than grouchy. We read "Little Cloud" and had fun playing with "clouds" and making our own clouds out of cotton balls. We also balloon painted this week! We used balloons to paint both the caterpillars and colorful butterflies from "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." We used water colors to paint the leaf fish and the seaweed from "Mister Seahorse." And we fed "flies" (pom poms) to our chameleons from "The Mixed-Up Chameleon.
