Goodbye!

What a busy last week of school we had! It was our last chance to enjoy the fun toys we have in nursery 2.

And we had the opportunity to borrow toys from the older Nursery 3 class, to prepare us for next year!

We spent some time making cards for Father's Day... Here's a sneak peak!

We also enjoyed our daily themes.

 Monday - bounce house

Tuesday - Pajama Day. We enjoyed eating corn pops while watching our class video, and the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom song (by Bill Martin, Jr).

Wednesday - Drums with Morah Danit

Thursday - Water Day! I'm not sure who had more fun, the kids or the Morahs!

We finished our week by baking challah for Shabbat.

Have a wonderful summer!

End of Year Party!

I can't believe the year is almost over!  I was so proud of all of the children, and hope you enjoyed seeing how beautifully they performed!

We finished preparing for our party by finishing our classroom rainbow, our color collages for our color book, and baking yummy brownies.

We also built buildings out of different color blocks.

Then it was time to party!!!

To recover from all of the celebrating, we had an easy day of playing with playdough and building with different manipulatives in the classroom.

Then, we danced with Morah Abby's class to some our favorite movement songs!

We also expanded what we learned about colors by reading one of favorite books, "Mouse Paint," and then having a chance to mix the colors, just like the mice in the book!

red feet in a yellow puddle makes orange!

yellow feet in a blue puddle makes green!

blue feet in a red puddle makes purple!

To celebrate our last Shabbat party, we will have all boys be Shabbat Abbas, and all of the girls will be Shabbat Imas.  Feel free to dress your child for the occassion!

Shabbat Shalom!
